Fundația Paleologu (“Paleologu Foundation”) was founded in 2013 to promote life-long education in Romania. The Paleologu family has a long history and tradition of building and sustaining communities of friends that focus on absorbing and internalizing culture, by updating the model of the ancient schools of philosophy and rhetoric.  Fundația Paleologu is, essentially, a non-profit and non-governmental organization that inherits the desire to engage in the local community to stimulate and respond to the people’s aspiration of permanently improving themselves with adequate knowledge.

Fundația Paleologu has organized more than 10.000 hours of courses for 8.500 participants in just 10 years. We directly work with more than 45 academicians with Ph.D.s in domains of humanities, such as philosophy, history, political science, economy, anthropology, and the list continues. Our main lecturer, whom we borrowed the name from, is Theodor Paleologu, Ph.D. in political philosophy from École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales and the University of Munich, the former Romanian minister of culture.
